The position
  • You’ll own Gigs-critical systems and processes for our US customers. You’ll maintain several business-critical systems (e.g. Notion, Linear, intercom, Freshdesk, Hubspot, Google groups, Slack, and Gigs internal systems) to enable all teams at Gigs by boosting their productivity. You’ll work to implement new systems as needed to support evolving processes and critically evaluate our use of systems with a view to improving frictionless scalability. This includes optimizing existing tools, setting up new integrations and tools, and troubleshooting any potential issues.
  • You’ll be the resident expert on Gigs’ API and platform product operations. You’ll partner closely with the Customer Success and Engineering teams to support smooth operations for our customers. This is an important step toward understanding our customers, the problems we solve for them, the processes we need to build, and the key decisions we need to make as we scale the operations team.
  • You’ll manage support operation requests and prioritize requests according to business impact, and drive to appropriate completion dates.
  • You’ll build out the support operations function. As the first dedicated support operations specialist, you will develop a flexible process and tool execution strategy to support the growth and scalability objectives of Gigs operations and company-wide initiatives.
  • You’ll enable internal and external stakeholders, by creating and maintaining self-service documentation for internal and external audiences. As the frontline of support operations, you are in the best position to identify opportunities to provide proactive support through self-service documentation and tooling. You will work cross-functionally as you write documentation to ensure new and existing content is up-to-date and accurate.
About you
  • You’ve built operational structures before and can bring your 2+ years of previous experience in operations at a fast-scaling startup or scale-up to Gigs.
  • You’ve got scalability on your mind. You are innately excited and strategic about fast-scaling companies. You seek to build reliable systems and processes so that we can 10x our operational growth.
  • You love learning new technologies as you go. You always seek to find the right tool for the job and are curious about finding new ways to gain an edge.
  • You enjoy engaging across teams by seeking to be highly involved in cross-functional teams and building relationships across the entire organization. You can leverage the knowledge about various team needs to improve operational structures.

The starting date is as soon as possible. However, we are willing to wait for the right candidate. And we’ll go above and beyond to accommodate your needs.

2. Meet the team: You'll get to meet our other team members. We value team fit above everything else. This also gives you the chance to see whether you'd enjoy working with us.
3. Final conversation: Our co-founder Dennis and you are going to chat more about the position, what you value, what you took away from the interviews so far, and whatever is on your mind.
