The position
  • You'll develop a brand marketing strategy & execute it. You’ll perform market research, ongoing business tracking, and monitor and analyze brand health and key performance metrics. You’ll use data, formulate insights, and articulate the strategic opportunities and issues that impact brand marketing. This includes maximizing marketing spending. You’ll focus on getting the biggest bang for the marketing buck.
  • You'll own all brand marketing activities. You’ll be our resident brand marketing expert. This is an opportunity to bring your expertise and personal touch to our brand marketing. You’ll align with business and product teams to align their initiatives with core brand pillars, brand materials, and brand strategy. Starting with blank canvases, you can set up the projects and campaigns for ultimate brand awareness and campaign success.
  • You’ll maximize impact. You’ll develop, elevate and drive brand strategy and omnichannel campaign execution. This will include building our content strategy by analyzing customer and user insights to translate them into marketing personas and strategies to establish Gigs as a leading brand.
  • You'll set us apart from the competition. We won’t always outspend our competition, but we can embrace our creativity and experiment more / faster than they can to stand out.
About you
We know that perfect candidates don’t exist. Even if not all of this applies to you, we’d love to learn more about you.
  • You’re a brand marketing expert. You have 3+ years of professional experience as a brand marketing manager for B2B tech companies. You have a proven record of delivering successful omnichannel campaigns focused on brand awareness and customer acquisition that drive customer engagement.
  • You love combining unique value propositions with data-driven results. Standing out from the crowd is second nature to your work, you love implementing new campaigns and rely on data and insights to continually improve upon them. You love to strike a balance between creativity and data analytics to make an impact.
  • You're a go-getter. You figure out how to solve problems on your own, hack growth through various channels, and thrive working in a fast-paced marketing environment.
  • You intuitively know when to leverage which channel. You have a sophisticated understanding of the channel and media landscape for B2B brand marketing. You know all relevant marketing tools for analytics and funnel optimizations. You intuitively know when to use which channel for the biggest impact.
  • Your marketing tools are your best friend. You know major marketing tools and PPC platforms like Google, Facebook, Amazon, and more. Email marketing is a tool you love to leverage when it's right. The magic is in the mix, and you know have the perfect marketing recipe for an emerging brand.

Our process
The starting date is as soon as possible. However, we are willing to wait for the right candidate. And will do everything to accommodate your needs.
You'll walk through four stages:
1. Get to know each other: We use this to pitch Gigs and get you excited to join. We'll also use this chance to see whether both our expectations align.
2. Meet the team: You'll get to meet our team members, like Tobi our Lead Backend Engineer. We value team fit over everything else. This also gives you the chance to see whether you'd enjoy working with us.
3. Project experience: You will send us 3 case studies and results you received from your brand marketing campaigns. We'll use that to have a conversation about which decisions you've taken and why.
4. Final conversation: The team and you are going to chat more about the position, what you value, what you took away from the interviews so far, and whatever is on your mind.
We are mindful of your time: Going through all stages can be done within one week. Once you've passed them all we will extend a formal offer.
You can also speak to one of our investors. We want to give you as many insights into us as possible. We see this as a truly two-sided decision.
